Small Urban Interventions

Problem description:

Part of the location where I have selected is for the reason that from my perspective it seemed very bleak zone, an area where there trotar maintained, the absence of traffic signs. Is the area that has movement around its lighting however is very small. Therefore, I am trying a little bit to increase the inner Light about it, figured fixtures and in a suggestively reduced the risk for people moving there, and on the other to make an area more attractive and dear or acceptable by all, especially for children of elementary school Dardania.

Problem description:
Posters on the walls of public buildings the town did not seem clear in terms of urban, and I think that citizens are not informed about events or new things in the way as was applied in our city.

Problem description:
This neighborhood has no sidewalks ramp that enables the movement of persons of disability.

Problem description:
 “Smoking kills” it's a famous phrase known all over the world.
Some public spaces are used for smoking so we have to do a solution for cigarette waste. I have choose the entry of UBT University where many students and professors are smokers and they go out to smoke because inside it forbidden, in many cases the smokers don’t have trashes where to put the cigarette waste so they just throw them down the floor and this is a serious problem which becomes air pollution.

Problem description:
Prishtina is known as a city of students and in this zone are lots of cafe bars, so they is not a good example for young people to take an example of this.
2nd Problem is that there are lots of garbage so there is a need for a smart and creative solution to increase the conscience.

Problem description:
These types of tunnels are many in Prishtina, especially in this neighborhood, they are located close to each other, but their maintenance is very deficient as well as their lighting, by transforming these tunnels in scary places for crossing the citizens. This tunnel is very frequented by the people, so is necessary to highlight and to clean up, because as I said above are very scary places.

Problem description:
Street B is a new city street which links several Prishtina suburbs. It is located  in the east of Prishtina and links the Hospital area, Mati 1 and Bregu i diellit. There are residential high-rise buildings along the Street B, while the ground floors are mainly for businesses (all kinds of stores), which are very frequented by the people. Its length is approximately 1 km, and there are not enough resting points (benches)
 The main purpose of the benches is that average pedestrians, mostly the elderly people, can have a short rest while walking, having in mind the long distance of the street.

Problem description:

The Small Urban Intervention of Garbage Containers that I selected is located in the heart of Prishtina, capital city of Kosova. These containers are alongside the City Park which is one of the most important part of Prishtina. They are just in front of the entrance park which makes it so not invitiable for the citizens. This area is most the of the times smelly and not healthy for the people who are using the park, especially for children. The  area I chose is not only dirty, smelly and not pleasing for the eyes but also very dangerous to come close to. Usually you may feel in danger while throwing the trash into the can. The area is dark people are afraid to go on their own. You may even see people in groups smoking, and this makes this place even more dangerous to cross by. The passage I choose needs urgent interventions!  It is full of bacteria just in front of the lungs of the City Park of Prishtina.

Problem description:

The reason I selected this urban space is that personally I felt very scared and unsecured to pass, especially during the night time.  I believe that this area needs an urgent solution.  Based on the neighbor who lives here, they say that we always have to companion our kids to school. The reason is that they are afraid to go on their own. You may even see people in groups smoking, and this makes this place even more dangerous to cross by. The passage I chose is quite long and there is no activity being held while you are passing inside of it.

Location which I have chosen for intervention is Calabria district extends south of Pristina, also this parcel is near college for business and technology.

The problem is in the center of Prishtina, natyrally the square is one of the most wonderful places there
in Prishtina. So, I decided to solve a problem in a square of Prishtina. The street of the square is very
busy with a lot of people, have restaurants, have café bar, fast food etc, but the fun is missing a lot.

Problem description:
The problem Is about the stairs. The reason Is because near to the stairs escalators,which people use all the time , and people never use these stairs, they are capable to wait for minutes going up-down with escalators. So we must do something Interesting and use the tact about these stairs, just people to use them.
